Updated Schedule for NC 105 Bridge Project from NCDOT

SPECIAL REPORT. BANNER ELK – A contractor for the N.C. Department of Transportation has updated the schedule for work on N.C. 105 and Broadstone Road in Watauga County.

After the operation, until 4 p.m., traffic will be stopped intermittently for 15-20 seconds at a time to allow trucks to enter and exit the work zone.

The nighttime work that was previously scheduled has been canceled.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution and stay attentive to flaggers in the area.
