CHARLOTTE, NC – Registration is now open for the Carolina Panthers 16th annual Weekend Warrior Charity Flag Football Tournament, which will be held on the Bank of America Stadium game field and the Carolina Panthers PrimeSport Practice Fields March 16-17, 2019. Registration for the 128-team event is open through March 1. On-line registration and rules are available atwww.panthers.com. Registration fee is $390 per team. Proceeds from the event will benefit the USO of North Carolina.
The non-contact tournament is for ages 21 and older and features four skill divisions (Weekend Warrior, Couch Potato, 35 & Over and Co-Ed). The tournament features a 4-on-4 format with rosters comprised of a maximum six players (four players plus two substitutes). All teams are guaranteed a minimum of three (3) games. 50% of all teams will advance to Championship Day on March 17, 2019, which is a single-elimination format. Division champions will receive custom-made championship rings.

The one-of-a-kind tournament has sold out each year since inception and has generated over $500,000 in charitable proceeds.
