By David Rogers. November 5, 2019. BLOWING ROCK, NC — Blowing Rock “foodophiles” are in for a scrumptious treat on Sunday (November 10th) at the American Legion Building. That’s the date for the Hometown Harvest covered dish supper, now in its 12th year. The dinner is slated for 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm.

There is no admission charge. Call it a B-I-G potluck dinner, but it is also more than that. In addition to bringing a favorite covered dish to share — and an appetite to sample everyone else’s — participants are asked to bring canned food as well as other donations that will be collected in benefit of two non-profit relief agencies, Blowing Rock C.A.R.E.S. and Casting Bread food pantries.
Of course, it is also an opportunity to meet and greet riends and neighbors, old and new. For additional information, please email Rita White, President, Blowing Rock Historical Society. Email: firstname.lastname@example.org
