SNAPSHOT: 8th year of WinterPaws beats the fog, rain with big crowd, record entries

Some guys just seem to have all the luck.

By David Rogers. January 28, 2018. BLOWING ROCK, NC — A record number of pooches strutted their stuff in Sunday’s WinterPaws dog show event in the Blowing Rock School gymnasium. We have another couple of reports coming tomorrow from our assigned correspondent, but here are a couple of captured moments as the event — now in its 8th year in benefit of the Watauga Humane Society — was winding down.

The Carolina Snowbelles were on hand to entertain the crowd and to show that not all of Blowing Rock had gone to the dogs.
